Yes, it uses many many techniques. It's a great poem and very interesting to read. Read it and I'm sure some techiniques will jump out at you (repetition, assonance etc). Then ask yourself how they affected you while you were reading it.

A few hints (just off the top of my head)
- things like rhyming, alliteration and assonance add to the rhythm and overall tone of the poem (although for school work you'll need to be more specific then that)
-certain words (eg long words as apposed to short sharp words) can change or enhance the tone and add feelings and also impose different meanings.
-repetition can emphasis meanings and help with the rhythm
-symbolism is one of the biggest techniques used (the whole poem is symbolic!)
-nothing in that poem is there by accident. Every word is used for a reason, so you should have no trouble finding some techniques to write about.

Good luck!

I'm not one to usually respond in this way, but I've had it with these posts that are clearly just re-typings of simple school homework assignments. At least rephrase it or make it look as if you care, as opposed to simply writing out the prompt you were given. You'll never learn anything if you come on "Yahoo! Answers" for your homework! But...sigh...yes, he uses many of those things and they add to the story - you finish the last bit up.
