Well , this ones little bit " Ambitious" , but i had to capture the mood of a confused person( depressed) who is into drugs and cannot come out of it and he sees the world in his own way!!

Dear Diary (moral dilemma)

Drugs, booze and rock galore
And here I am all alone
In a world that obsessively preaches
But cannot see that “itself” changes

Marmalade sky and tangerine dreams
Always takes me to those high seams
In a world full of hate and deceit
I find peace under its feet

And, Who are you to say I m wrong?
When your own life speaks for you like a gong!!
Aloud it yells and tells your secrets
Which you always try to hide and suppress

And for me, is it not fair??
When I say I had a failed affair
And so what, I have lost my track
I find truth when I am on cocaine and crack

Well, then what is the right way???
But!! Have you ever seen the trees sway ?
To and fro in the wind all day
Do you think our lives are different from them anyway???

This poem relates drug use to existantial and philosophical issues, like "whyo is right" and "we're just like the swaying trees".
As a previous drug user I can relate to this, I questioned authority and conventional wisdom, and also wondered about the universe, in part to justify and in part enhance my drug use.
Whether or not these traits are typical would determine the amount of insight your poem contains, but unfortunately I can't answer that question for us.
I'm drug free now. I feel that a part of my decision has been partly due to internet access - I have the same stimulation and excitement online that I had before "offline" on drugs. Thats not the whole story, but I feel that I've at least taken a strike at the nail (rather than hit it on the head).
As have you.
Well done for writing poetry.
I hope you continue.
Thankyou.

"I find truth when I'm on cocaine and crack", not the path I would take. However, some of our greatest minds in history were on some type of drug to get by. Can't say if your right or wrong because I haven't walked in your shoes. Drugs and booze do lead to depression and poison your body. Good luck in succeeding in life. Hopefully you'll find your inner peace.

you have some somewhat emotive concepts right here inspite of the undeniable fact that it may no longer be poetry. you have many rhymes yet no longer plenty poetry. yet do no longer supply up writing what you experience.Play with words and use what no one says. Be diverse on your use of language and use a dictionary. locate words that no-one you recognize has heard till now and throw them in the mixture and notice what happens. Love language. words are each and every thing. this is how we communicate!

I like rock n roll, so it might be cool lyrics to a song, but sounds like someone needs REHAB. I have never done drugs, so it's hard for me to relate. I wish you the best.
