How was Casino Royale?

I completely disagree with pksk212.

I loved it. I'm a huge Bond fan. Daniel Craig did a fantastic job as the new 007, and in mine, and many others' opinions that Daniel Craig is exactly how Ian Fleming depicted the character in James Bond in his novels. Casino Royale was a fantastic film, but was unfortunately beaten it the US box office by 'Happy Feet', but in the World Wide Box Office, Casino Royale blew away the competition.

Eva Green as Vesper Lynd played her role in an excellent fashion. Her attitude in the film was quite similar to the novel. Her acting was fantastic and Eva Green is Vesper Lynd. It wouldn't be the same without her. With her Bond girl competition; Solange, who had an incredibly small role of having a love scene with Bond, and being killed off quickly. Solange wasn't quite important, since she wasn't as popular in the film as she was on message boards of James Bond fans.

Mads Mikkielsen as LeChiffre. He was quite the character. His devious scheme of being a private banker to Obanno was reluctant. His character's role was quite amazing. It wasn't disappointing at all, and he was indeed the proper man to star as LeChiffre.

In general, Casino Royale was greatly worth the wait. It followed the book properly and with non stop action, whether it be romance scenes, the torture scene, or intense action, Casino Royale left all Bond fans in the world Shaken and Stirred.

I myself will see it several more times this week.

Dull as Dull can be.
I had the same question I have in mind whenever I see Timothy Dalton as 007 - What were they thinking having this guy as 007". I think Craig can be a better 007 Villain than 007 himself. He is sexy, good looking etc but not a 007 Material

As per the movie & story – 007 is suppose to be super hero, so when they are shown to be loosing in a game or anything, it doesn’t give a good vibe for the movie watchers
