if a mother doesnt pay up her wat she owes would u let them come over??
she owes $$50.00
n u feel srry 4 the kids but the mom always does this 2 me n the kids want 2 come over badly
but i cant let her keep owing me $ u know? its not right 4 the kids not come over but i cant let her get so far behind in paying me or she'll never pay me
so wat do u ppl think i should do ??
she gave me games (gamecube games)
4 the payment n she took them back do u think i should let them come over anymore so thats y its 50.00 im nice enough 2 them they get 2 eat here n everything wat should i do??

Just tell her that you cant continue to babysit until you are paid the money that you are owed. I can understand you not wanting to hurt the kids but this is not about them. your kindness is being taken advantage of and since you have not mentioned the money to her she is soaking you up as much as she can. Or just tell her that you cant babysit anymore. And from time to time at your own leisure go get the kids and spend some time with them so that they wont think its about them.

Oh that is a tough one I used to hate being in situations like that when I babysat. If you like the kids and they are not a problem you could let it slide, but on the other hand if she gets behind all the time she will always thi nk its okay.
Why not work out ahead of time, she will prepay you.You could take the games as payment if you want the games and can use them otherwise don't. Be firm with her unless she has a real reason for being late otherwise it will always happen.
Then after have her pay you ahead of time or just say Im sorry I cant take the kids.

No way, I don't think this is okay at all what she's doing. I know what it's like to get ripped off babysitting and I hate it. What I start doing when that happens, is never answering their phone calls (I have caller ID) and if I do answer, I make up an excuse so obvioulsy all the time so they get that I don't want to be working for some bums like them. Next time she tries to pull that, just say "sorry, I can't watch your kids until you pay me what I originally set up." She is totally ripping you off and you should not stand for it!!

I think that you should quit. The kids might be sad, but it's not you they have to blame. If someone babysits for money, the person who they babysit has to pay. If the kids are mad or sad, you have no reason to be blamed, because it's not your fault that the parent didn't pay. Maybe they should watch their kids, or ask someone else. Sorry if you chose to quit, yet you don't want to.

Well I think no, you should ask her for the money she own´s you and tell her you can´t look after the kids. when she ask´s why, just tell her the truth, that you need the money like everybody else. Sometimes it´s no good to be to nice to people especially when it comes to money, also sometimes the more you do for people the less appreciated you become

I think you should tell her personally that she owes you this amount of money. And you tell her you love her kids and they love you. But you aren't going to let her take advantage of you. You need money just like she does that's why she works. But tell her in this calm,cool, way what you think.

You have to stand your ground. She has to PAY ! This lady (I'm being nice) is a person that walks all over people that are afraid to say no. The kids will just have to suck it up. You are not being mean.

Tell her you can't baby sit for any longer. And just leave it at that. If you feel like asking for your money then do so but I would just quit baby sitting for someone who refuses to pay you. In the real world you would not work for someone who neglected to pay you, would you?
