Isn't astrology biased against itself in that way? Aren't other issues like age differences, education, race, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, or economic stature more important?

How do you decide which astrologer or site is the right one? Some will say yes others will say no.

Take it further. If you "believe" it does work; is it okay to apply this to all your family and friends? No one has control when and where they are born. Would you mind being judged that way?

Most of the questions here are about sun sign compatiblity. These are the people that I'm looking for answers. Maybe a sliding scale would be a better way.

A. Crucial
B. Very Important
C. Somewhat Important
D. Neutral/Don't use
E. No value/no harm
F. No value/harmful

Maybe next question.

There is no way the arrangement of the planets and stars can have any effect on your life or personality. Astrology is for entertainment only. Anyone who would base their life on it is very misguided.

Yeah if you are into discrimination. You, your parents, siblings, friends, and everyone in the world did not get to choose when to be born. This make astrology a bigoted concept, akin to racism and sexism. There is not a shred of evidence for the stereotyping astrology must make to be what it is.

Astrology isn't biased. Of course you should take into consideration factors like age difference, social status and education. Things like nationality, race, or religion shouldn't decide compatibility. You shouldn't solely use astrology but I do think it is definitely worth a close look.

As far as someone judging me for being a Scorpio, I don't really care because I am a Scorpio and am da*n proud for being one!! I've never had any bad experiences because of my astrology but that's probably because as a Scorpio I am so intense and can be vindinctive if provoked!!! No one should dare mess with a Scorpio!!

first of those other issues, while being important to you (which is rather apparent from your countless answers on this part) isnt important to everyone they are only issues if you make them issues. compatability between personalitys and emotions and the such are far more important then your material issues.

How am i judging my family when ive already seen the traits there charts show? im understanding them from what they say and from what im seeing in there own personal chart.

how do i decide which astrologer to believe or which site? like i said i practice it myself. so i just do my own readings.

It always worked for me. I always date signs that are in NO WAY compatable, and it always ends in a bad way. But then they were unstable, so................

Relationships are much more complex than the position of stars and planets, which are based on the constant laws of astrophysic. People who believe this have nothing to offer except anecdotal evidence. There is no fact supporting it because People would prefer to base thier reality on thier whim not reason. Reason provides a standard, that states that I can judge one idea to be wrong and another to be right. This creates accountability. When reason rules your beliefs you are accountable for what you believe. When whim rules your beliefs then who can judge what is right and wrong. We can then believe what we want without any fear of being wrong. People who follow whim are nothing but cowards, afraid of being wrong. We should never fear being wrong. We should confront it face to face and accept the consequences and obligations of being found wrong. All humans by nature and definition have the right to reject reason but no one can escape the consequences.
