Okay here is an answer from your friendly respiratory therapist. when you breathe you do so through your nose, at least you should, humans are nose breathers. We do this because right beyond your nose is a body part called the concha which in simple terms is like a palm tree full of blood vessels and tissue, etc to naturally warm up, filter and hydrate the air you breathe in so when it gets to the lungs its is as warm, clean and damp as possible. Now when you blow your nose you blast that nasal concha with hurricane force winds and the crap on it comes off, sometimes you break a blood vessel on the concha which s generally no big deal, unless you have a bleeding disorder. Anyway this is all up in you sinuses and when you blow you nose hence the warm pink snot. I hope that this anatomy and physiology lesson was helpful, if not email me. I'll explain further

Hmm...I don't know about your snot being hot. Could it be that you're running a fever, therefore making your whole body really warm?
I'd say the rose pink snot sounds like blood mixed with normal snot (clear). Have you had bloody noses lately? If not, it could just be that you had a broken blood vessel or something minute within in your nose, that has caused some coloring of the snot.
I wouldn't worry too much about going to a doctor. It's better than not catching something!

You may not like doctors, but I would suggest seeing one anyway.
The pink color is almost certainly caused by blood in the mucous. This implies that you are hemorrhaging somewhere in your nose or sinus cavities.
This is potentially a very bad thing, and one that may require medical attention.
It may also simply be something you are already taking. A blood thinner for instance. If you are taking herbal remedies, check if any of them qualify as a blood thinner. If so, stop taking it, and see if your boogers go back to a 'normal' color... (did I just type that?)
Regardless, I would suggest at least contacting a health professional, even if only by phone, for advice.

Maybe all those herbal, "natural" remedies are messing your nasal lining up? I don't really know. The only thing i can really think of is that maybe your passages are dry and the pink is actually blood. Don't let one bad experience at the doctors turn you off. Simply go to a different doctor. Not all things can be cured by herbs.

I often have problems like that this time of year with the dry air, try a saline solution (comes in a nasal spray) if that doesnt do it for you I would try to call a homeopathic doctor or google homeopathy. I dont like doctors much either.

I have just recently begun doing that myself. # weeks back I landed up with the shivers - cough - cough/coughing fits - sinus unbelievable pain! I've been drinking loads of herbal lemon tea with extra lemon added, along with blending the lemon teas with raspberry teas, green teas, cranberry/apple teas, etc.. I will actually allow the steam of the cup to surround my sinus, which does help. I also began taking Mucinex DM to control the coughing fits..
My doctor said for me to ride this through..
You can also place warm to slightly hot compresses (of the tea cup) along your sinuses to help clean up what's brewing inside.
I would say it's a sinus infection..
Here are some wonderful books, well worth the read:

Go to Walgreens and choose a pale pink "natural looking" matte finish color to suit your skin tone, and then when you apply it, rub your finger on the tip of the lipstick and dab it on your lips and blend it (but don't overblend.) And don't use lip gloss if you want to look natural. Just use chapstick instead.
