How can you create a second floor in your house on Millsberry?

I have the whole first floor filled, but how can I create a second floor?

To add a second floor you just build right on top of the first floor.

You follow the same procedure to add a room to your house...

On the left hand side of the window click the link for Downtown

Click on Peterson's Hardware and Construction

Click on the Add a Room button (top center)

Your home floor plan will be displayed as a grid. Select the square on which you wish to build. To build a second floor you must select one of the 9 "inner" squares". Choose the type of room and the name and click the Build button.

You should be aware - once you build a second floor you cannot destroy any rooms that lie below where you've build on the 2nd floor, unless you want to destroy the room on the 2nd floor as well.
