that waiters at restaurants always come and ask if everything is alright only when you got some food in your mouth ? do they wait untill they see you trying to swallow before coming over so you cant complain or ask anything as you are too busy chewing , it is annoying dont you think , or is it only in Africa that this happens ?

This same thing just happened to me . I was in one of my
favorite restaurants and everytime I took a bite , the waitress
would pop up and ask me if I needed anything and how was
everything. She was extremely nice and was getting a good tip
anyway but I thought her timing was a little off. I just kept smiling
and nodding to her.

I used to be a waiter. Its hard to asked when people dont have food in their mouth, because they're eating at a restaurant and shoveling their mouths like pigs

Actually, how often when you're out eating, DON'T you have food in your mouth? That's why you're there, right?
