I want it to be on stem cells and religion, but isn't religion just against embryoic stem cells? What else can I write about on the topic? It has to be debatable and have to take a side. Thanks for the suggestions!

Ok, I've had to write a similar paper about a zillion times in college, so here's some advice: Write on the positive and negative outcomes it could have such as organ transplant and the possiblity of people trying to sell their own organs for $$$, and how there could be a large black market of organs for sale. This will make a rise in the homocide rate (people killing other people to steal their organs) and because there has not been a lot done w/ stem cell organs, they do not know the longivity of them. Most religious people are aganist it because they think that it will increase abortion. I don't know....Good luck!

These papers are tough. You have to like the topic, how long is the paper. Stem cell is a good topic but broad. What about it? and religion ? that it is immoral? or what ? actually you could do the unethical too.
What about same sax marriage- same debate , a lot easier to research and tons of stuff going on now. You could even site that in MA the Gov. Mitt Romney has petitioned that the SJC rule on it because he is opposed to it and the legislators in Ma would not vote on it.

why don't you drop the organized religion angle all together. write about stem cells and faith...which is really what god was and is all about. religions and its dogmas are and have always been made up by a bunch of power hungry men. if god had wanted us to be on our knee before him he wouldn't have given us feet so that we could walk through life and find our own way. only a tyrant demands adoration from a subservient position. take it from the true faith angle and you open up a whole new can of worms which is what research should do. good luck

the difference between evolution and creationism. also include coexistence. i did something on this my freshman year and it wasn't hard at all. i got an A on it and i chose to write that coexistence is what people should believe.
