One: God made it in a week.
Two: Big Bang and debris came and crashed against more debris as it spun and went around the sun, making it bigger and bigger and bigger, until it was Earth sized and it cooled down.
You choose which one you want to believe.

Material from the nebula that created the sun condensed into an accretion disk orbiting the sun. Parts of that material that were large had gravity pull them together and it grew bigger and bigger. The bigger it got, the more gravity it had until it became big enough to be our planet earth. The earth is still slowly cooling from it's formation (the inside is so hot, it is liquid). So basically the earth was made from the nebula that the sun formed in, and because of gravity. Same way every other planet is made.

First off, it wasn't a who.
Ok, if not a who, then what?
They theorize that the earth was a by- product of the "Big Bang".
Everything else you see, the stars, the moon, sun, all of it, was a result of the Big Bang.
According to a lot of scientists and astronomers, we were really an accidental occurrence. Hypothetically speaking, there were solutions that just happened to have the right composition of chemicals in the right proportion, lightning struck, and TA DA life began.
Whether or not you want to believe God had a hand in it or not is entirely your discretion.

Planets like the Earth form in a "protosolar nebula", which condenses from interstellar gas and dust in molecular clouds. The molecular clouds are orbiting the center of the Milky Way. They are made mostly of molecular hydrogen, with additional amounts of the other elements that were formed in stars and then ejected. We can see stars and planets form in places like the Orion nebula, which is the middle star in the "sword" hanging from Orion's belt. Presumably the Earth formed the same way, about 4.7 billion years ago.

The Earth formed from the collection of matter that was left behind when the sun was created in a solar dust cloud that existed billions of years ago. It was created along with the other planets as the dust cloud became encompassed into the planets.... As the mass of each grew they collected more.... until a substantial gravitational field was created. The process is a little more complex, to be listed in this space.

There are theories and more theories... The most popular of them is being created overnight by God, the other being the Big Bang theory and the earth is supposed to have broken off from a celestial body (presumably the sun).
