Our moral obligations are our personal values between ourselves and some higher power (if you want to beleive that) and it's no ones business.

Ethics are the basic principles needed for a functioning society and are often confused with morals, but are actually the common rules and laws needed that will encompass everyone no matter their morals.

Value is what we place on ethics and morals. Do I value someone else's morals? - Well, it's really none of my business and shouldn't matter. Do I value someone's ethics? - Yes, this is my business and does matter because society survives on commone ethics.

Our moral obligations are to take care of each other, which sorely we don't do. If you see a person who is hurt, tend the wound, at the very least call for help. If you see a child in danger, protect him. If you see an old person struggling to carry a heavy bag, help out. Whatever the need is, do something more than nothing.
Value is just as it says....importance you place on a thing or person or place. It is what gives something worth (not just monetary) It is why something is important to you. Hope this has helped. Nana

Is morality an obligation?

Can a person be moral or amoral if he lacks volition?

"Value" is that which one acts to gain and/or keep.

Our moral responsibilities are to respect others and treat them in kind. to respect their property and leave it to them. To recognize the burdens of others and help where we can. To respect and care for our precious families, to teach our children all these things.

Value is how you determine what is the "worth" of anything to you, material or non material. What you value, you will not neglect, IE your family, church, home, job -----.

Anything deemed necessary by our social folkways or self imposed ideals. Value is an extreme dilusion almost deified.

To take responsibility for our actions.
Not use other people for our own gain.
To be honest in all our dealings.
