There already is. His name is Dannol Kulawe from the Philippines. His swim speed was recorded at 35mph for the first 5 seconds, which makes him officially faster than a shark, for a brief period.
If you were stranded in the jungle, surely there would be better things to eat than shoes. In a desert, maybe...

No not a boy, a girl because all mermaids are girls. If you ate your shoes you would die as I'm sure they won't come back out. But if you do as Tom Hanks did in Castaway with his friend Wilson you will survive. You will have blond hair, no friends, no home and will be legally dead, but you will survive.

I can swim faster than a shark but you cant pull me backwards through water or I drown. As for the shoe thing is is dowubtfull that rockports can be of any nutrional value!!! xxx
