I was driving my van along a busy road and I had the usuall Monday morning blues. It was a very cold and overcast day . I got stopped at the traffic lights and was staring ahead when something caught my attention to my right. Inside a car beside me in the back seat was a child of abour 5 or 6 y.o.a. She was looking at me and she gave me the most wonderful of smiles and a little wave of her hand. That kid warmed my morning up no end,she did'nt need to do it but she did. It was as if she knew that I needed a smile. I love children and I always see god in their faces. It pains me greatly to hear of anyone hurting a child. We should never underestimate the power over darkness a child has in an otherwise dangerous world. Just thought Id share that with you all.

Technically, this isn't a question, but who cares? I know EXACTLY what you mean! Even tho' my kid is now a teen, I look at him and am so stunned at his potential and wit and compassion. I feel incredibly lucky to have had him, when actually, I never wanted kids at all! Think of what I'd have missed!
