At five weeks, you feel like nothing at all has changed, for a few minutes you can even forget it is happening, it is normal.

Hi. I am going through exactly the same worry! I am 5 weeks 2 days pregnant and feel NO different! I have absolutely no tenderness in my breasts and no nausea, nor do I have any other symPtoms other than tiredness (but I think I'm always tired with baby #1 anyway!) I saw my Dr yesterday and she is going to try to book me in for an early scan. Perhaps you could request the same, especially considering your blighted ovum. At least a scan at around 6 weeks will give you peace of mind. This is such a nerve-wracking time!! I wish you all the best.

No worries everybody is different and a lot of our pregnancies r different as well. I have had 2 girls and 1 on the way my first preg. I was sick alot and with this one I feel nothing so don't get scared and worried the fact that you r not having any difficulties is a blessing and yes some people have symptoms at 5 weeks but some people r lucky enough to not have none so cheer up and enjoy the feeling of feeling great because in a week or 2 you just may not be so lucky anymore...
Best Wishes to you and your little one

I think you are worried because of what happened to you in the past. I lost a child before and when I became pregnant three years later I was worried I was going to lose that one too. All throughout my pregnancy I never came to acknowledge it for fear that "the rug would get pulled from underneath me" I did not want to be happy only to be devastated later, so I didn't really feel pregnant. The same thing may be happening to you, but just be happy and grateful that you were able to become pregnant again. Maybe the first time wasn't meant to be and now it is. I now have a beautiful 15 month old little girl with the biggest eyes and I am so grateful to have her and I realize that the first time I wasn't ready and now I am.
Good Luck and Congratulations

You are being a bit paranoid, but given what you have been through, your concern is justified.
Some women are just lucky with regards to symptoms...they feel fine all the way through- but then others have a few weeks of feeling okay, then are hit by nausea and aches all over...
Just relax. It's normal and common to feel okay. We only hear of the bad signs because people are more willing to share the negative side in order to get sympathy- for every bad pregnancy, there's a great one!

Every pregnancy is different. Just because you are not feeling any symptons does not mean that something is wrong. With my first pregnancy, I didn't start feeling any soreness or morning sickness until well into my second month (and that was with twins). With this pregnancy, I started feeling bloated almost instantly and then the morning sickness began in full force.
If you are overly concerned, call your doctor. They should have an on-call nurse for any questions you may have. I will keep you in my thoughts and hope for the best.

hi there!!! i am as preg as u with baby #2..... no symptoms yet either except for positive tests!!!! with my son i did not get any until wk 6-7 and did not feel preg until around 5 months!!! so don't worry, there is no real preg "feeling", just rest in the fact that u are. when the baby is kicking around, u will feel preg then! and if u do not have any morning sickness, embrace that...soon u may be feeling sea sick all the time and wishing for the day where u feel normal again! best of luck and prayers for a beautiful baby..

I think you are lucky and probably a healthy young woman. and yes i think it is normal to not feel pregnant after 5 weeks. I would give it another 3 weeks or so then have a good check up and see what the doctor has to say about it. You will probably feel very pregnant by then.

enjoy the fact that you aren't having any symptoms. And yes it is normal. There were several times in my first trimester that I actually forgot that I was pregnant! (No luck with that now though!) It is scary having a problem with you pregnancy and I'm sure you are going to worry but try not to do it to much and enjoy that fact the you have a child in your womb. Congratulations and good luck!

I did not know I was pg with my daughter till I was about 5 mnths, no sickness or anything. I was sleepy also though. I was also thirsty all the time. I had a really good pregnacy though and was never really sick, with my son I was sick as a dog from day one to the end, alot of throwing up and headaches. I wish you luck and pray that you are just having a good pregnacy.
