I am extremely disapointed, last night someone either stole or grabbed my cell phone at the bar. It is a Razor and io know they will try to hook it up, will they be caught?

what do you mean by "hook it up"? do you mean call someone? if you haven't canceled your account, which you should have done right away, you can look at your phone records online, and then you can call the police and they can check out the numbers that were called after you lost your phone.

I recently heard a story about a guy here that had his cell phone stolen. He called his phone, the thief answered the phone, and the guy told the theif he would meet up with him and give him fifty bucks for the phone, but he needed the phone back. He alerted the police, met up with the guy, and the theif got arrested. Maybe you could try the same thing.

Good Luck

well you would have to have some type of tracking device for that. you can always try to call your cell phone and see will the person pick up. the best thing to do is to call the company, tell them it is stolen and you want it temporarily cut off. they will ask for you 10 digit number and possibly your social security #. If you had insurance they can cut that phone off and give you the same phone or a new phone if it was time for an upgrade...

That sucks but you should tell your service provider that someone stole it b4 they send you a bill that's outragously high. You have to cut the service off and get a new phone. That's the best thing you can do now.

do you mean hook it up in a charger? if so, then no. you should have cancelled your account automatically, but if you want it back you should call your provider and inform them that your phone was either stolen or picked up by accident and they have this thing they do were if the person makes a call they can find out exactly who it is.(its pretty cool) my neihgbor had the same thing happen.

oh that sucks! unfortunately, if that was a cingular or t-mobile razr, then no, they won't be caught because all they will have to do is replace the sim with their own. once your sim is out of the phone, they can use it without any problems. im not sure about providers who don't use sim cards though. check with your provider for replacement options.
