Did you use? And which ones do you buy most often?

I personally find that clorox, comet, 409, and windex, once a week, do ALL that I need, to clean and disinfect - with drano and lime-away tackling the serious problems, (about once a year). . .

When I was a kid, in the South, and my parents had help with the cleaning - I remember the lady who did the work, was expected to put 'Jubilee' on all the bathroom surfaces, and kitchen too... any one else have this kind of experience?

I used to use the same sort of thing, but I'm now very apprehensive about mainstream cleaners--many contain carcinogens. There are no requirements in North America to label them as such or try to get the offensive materials removed from the ingredient mix, unlike in Europe.

I am now paying more to obtain cleaners that are not health risks. They clean great and you just need a little bit. They also smell much better and are pleasant to work with. Try Quixtar.com. The current product I am using is scented Green Tea and Coriander. I also like the Pear Spice. The products are biodegradable and scented, not perfumed (which I now find offensive).

From a picky, health conscious cleaning person!

You knwo what I just figure out? The Magic Eraser makes cleaning the bathtub sooo easy! Really. Takes soapscum right up & very little any elbow grease. I was amazed! And I am a huge believer in Comet and SOS pads. Target's Method Brand works really well, and smells delicious!

I use Odoban to wash down everything in the bathroom. You can find it at Sam's club. It will disinfect and smells great.

To wash mirrors, I have a small spray bottle containing alcohol. not the drinking kind..:) Alcohol will not leave streaks on mirrors or glass.

I just discovered Mrs. Meyers cleaning products at the drugstore and have switched to them. They're natural, biodegradable, and smell terrific--and they do a great job.
