If it is a credible threat and the person threatened is in sustained fear. If you say, "I am sending Brutus over to break your knee caps." Brutus shows up to victims house with a bat; you my friend are committing a felony. Empty threats are made often and are not a crime, but if you meet the elements you could be in a world of hurt.

If somebody is sending abusive or insulting messages then they're committing offences under the telecommunications act. record it to the police. besides the undeniable fact that whats up could be warned under the harassment act that's plenty extra in all probability. it could positioned a quit to their behaviour. verify you save the messages and a word including date and time of the different behaviour in the direction of you.

Yep. It's a threat whether or not you intend to do it. If something DOES happen, you'll be the first guy they look for and the authorities can pressure Yahoo to give them your records so they can find you.

yes... it is a threat to commit bodily harm. Most likely nothing will happen... but if they got their *** kicked guess who is charged with assault. Then you get to hire a lawyer to prove you didn't do it.

Yes. You should say that you COULD send someone, but saying that you WILL is a direct threat to their personal safety & wellbeing. You little torture monger, you! :o)
