I think that they should drop the slow useless batsmen like Sehwag, Kaif, etc and they should either bring back an old opener like Ganguly or something or bring in an aggressive opener. Also, they should keep the bowlers like Zaheer Khan who are in good form. The best change they could probably make is the sacking of Greg Chappell plus Dravid's leave as captain. He just doesn't have what it takes to be captain of India. Oh, and Dhoni should be #3 or something so that next time, he can save India after the 10th over, not the 30th over.

you are correct! captaincy should be changed!
only 3 players an be retained : Dhoni,Kumble, and Zaheer Khan
player who can be considered :Tendulkar, harbhanjan and Dravid
rest :Shewag ,Kaif ,pathan,Mongia,Kharthik,Jaffer,Agarkar,Raina
should be dropped forever!!
they had lot of chances or they are not suitable for one days!!
Yuvraj and gaugu ly can come back for their experience!
Should introduce fresh batsman fast bowler and spinner!
If even after that we fail , we know that we move upwards otherwise India wont improve

I strongly feel that the present squad should be tried out in the entire one day series in South Africa, so that sufficient opportunities are given to all the players. For the Test series, Ganguly and Laxman should be included in the team. At the end of South Africa Tour, assessment of each and every players should be done and whoever has failed to perform should be replaced by other talented youngsters for the Sri Lank and West Indies series. Here again after each series, performance of the players should be assessed and the players who have performed well only should be retained for the next series.
India should build up a list of 30 probables through these exercises and these probables should be split into 2 teams and couple of matches should be played between these 2 teams.
After that again performance of all players should be assessed and only who have performed exceptionally well should be included in the World Cup Squad.
Changing Coach and Captain is not at all going to make any change in the performance of the team. I strongly feel that linking payment to the players to their performance will be much better option that changing the Coach and Captain.

Look Zaheer Khan is playing well and he was not under chappells coaching. And the guys under Chappell are failing. So its coaches guilt. I think Coach is to be changed.
Because the valuable experiments of the current coach proved neadless. Then we should offer Ganguly To rule with royalty which i failed to find these days.

Any 18yrs child can do better job.
He made 63 in 103 balls and it is equvalent of 184 in 50 overs. This means he played for his retaintion in the team but not for win of INDIA.
HE SCORED +50 for 63 but SCORED (NEGETIVE) -100 for playing TEST Match in ODI.
The net score of dravid is (negative)-50. This means he can play TEST but he shall be removed from ODI side of INDIA.
Shri DHONI be made CAPTAIN- Why?
He scored 55 in 48 balls, this is equivalent to 344 runs in 50 overs. Therefore he played for win of INDIA. HE GOT 50 FOR SCORING 55, and 100 FOR PLAYING FOR WIN OF INDIA and not mere for his retaintion in the team.
THEREFORE DHONI WITH 150 MARKS OUT OF 100 WILL THE CAPTAIN IN THE NEXT ODI
Shri DRAVID WITH (-)50 SCORE SHALL BE DROPPED FROM ODI AND RESERVED FOR TEST ONLY.

Kaif, Raina and Pathan should be dropped. Harbhajan may also be rested, as he too is in poor form in South Africa.
Perhaps bring in Ganguly/Laxman back.
