how come my computer keeps shutting down on me...but everytime it shuts down a blue page is shown for like 2 seconds and then shuts down and restarts...is it because my computer isnt geunine....is it a virus...if it was how come i didnt find it on my avg scan???

Windows OS for the last Decade have a Fatal error system. It displays a Blue screen with white text. The Text may help trouble shoot the error. But without knowing what this text says, I can not tell you what is causing this error.
Fatal Errors can triggered by many things. for example: ill fitting hardware, is one I've recently come across. Another is poorly written software.
It should be noted that Virus Scanners or other scanners may not be able to detect the Error.

There may be many reasons for this problem. I can give you a link that deals with hard drive problems. Some RAM/hard drive problems can be easily fixed yourself by using easily available tools. I found the info at http://fixit.in useful
