How far range can a PS3 be hooked up to a computer with Wi-Fi?over 50 ft away?

That all depends on the placement of your wireless network's antenna in your home. The PS3 has nothing to do with the actual signal strength being sent out.

Do you mean how far your router is from the console? cause wi-fi makes the broadband go wireless I think its depends on your router.
