As far as I know, I came up with it myself, but I want to know if it will look like I'm copying from a well-known source if I include it in an essay without a footnote.

while others have said similar things,,, i have not heard of a quote that puts it exactly that way,,, so i wouldnt think you need quotes,,,, you might do a search of quotes about life, or meaningful life, just to see if you find anything attributed to someone,,,,,,
