Once worked at firm where there were two guys and 24 gals... some were never flustered and others would occasionally be screaming or giving someone the cold shoulder silent treatment... but I've also worked at an outfit that was all guys...and there was the cussing yelled back and forth and the silent treatment too...the difference seemed that the gals would get upset over percieved slights or gossip and the guys would get upset if someone 'borrowed' a tool or something without asking.
It all depends on the individual...

I think that it does, and that women suffer worse from job stress. Typically, in addition to their jobs, women hold most of the responsibility for the seeing to the children's needs, taking care of and running the home, and dealing with social obligations. Women wear many hats nowadays, and as a result, suffer from role-strain.
Note that I'm not saying that men are exempt from these pressures, just that women generally carry more of the household burden in addition to their jobs.

in my workplace, yes. the women are way more responsible and can be counted upon to finish through, not to mention being self starters to begin with. the men above myself for example are more complacent about letting problems ride and hope to hell that they will magically fix themselves. that never seems to happen, lol. so the direct cause and effect ensues that us women are burdened with not only our stress, but others.
i cannot speak for anyone else, but myself, of course.

Indirectly yes... Women just tend to cope better with any kind of stress.

Yup, we females, tend to take things much more seriously then men...men, they are just laid back and let things flow they want to..while we try our best to make things work out the way we need things to!
