I was constantly teased throughout grade school, high school and even in college (though by then it did not bother me). You'll survive.

If you are like me, eating alone will not do it. I hit 6' 3" and 140 lbs in my early 20's and was probably 6'1" and 125 in HS. Exercising hard was the only thing that helped me gain weight no matter HOW much I ate, and even then it was fairly modest. I was doing the raw eggs, the hi cal protein drinks, the whole nine yards sometimes while exercising a lot, and sometimes not.

I honestly think the way some of us are built our bodies just won't absorb more than a certain number of calories from our food no matter how much we sluice through there. After a point more food for us just means more nutritive poo for the bacteria in the water treatment system.

By my late 30's weight came if I just ate a lot. Now I am up to around 170lbs which is comfortable for me, and close to the middle of what the NIH thinks is healthy for 6' 3" and for the first time in my life know I could become obese if I tried. (I put on 1lb a month steadily for a couple of years before I decided I ought to start paying attention to my weight a little.)

Eventually "metabo-pause" will catch up with you and weight gain will become easier. Before that I simply focussed on the desire for my body to be functional (strong, endurance, etc) rather than on how it looked. You might have a little trouble looking attractive to **some** women, but chances are you will don't have the genetics to be attractive to those particular women anyway. (The ones who insist on a mess of muscles. There are fewer of those than you think).

That said, when I worked in bars, my butt was often (maybe once/month) pinched by female customers whereas the other guys rarely had this happen, so lean and mean is also attractive to the right women!

By the time you hit 40, you will be grateful for your physique. Make the most of it as it is, and again comfort yourself by being stronger and increasing your endurance. Also remember that if you are a teen, your healthy weight will be below what that NIH chart I linked to below says.

Why would you want to make it more fatty? Ifyou want more muscle, work with weights and exercise. I was skinny also and went into the service where I gained weight from drinking alcohol. I wish I hadn't now because I am a type 2 insulin dependant diabetic at 50. I am trying to lose that fatty stuff around the middle. I'm 6'3" also and weighed 155 in high school while swimming. I ballooned to 272, and currently weigh 259 reaching for 230. Work with weights and exercise, that is my suggestion and eat right!

You don't really want to add fat, but muscle. Start doing some weight training, play basketball, or football (just pick-up games, doesn't have to be team oriented). You can add more healthy fruits, veggies and protein to your diet. At 6' 3", 220-230 would be a good solid weight for you to maintain. Good luck!

exercise. body building. increase fat intake is no good. watch your cholesterol level. thin people tend to have high cholesterol.

so try body building. find a good trainer. move around a lot. do weight lifting. join any sport activities like rugby, tennis, basketball, etc. just exercise.

and get a balance diet.know your portions well.

or if that doesn't help, go get a thyroid screening. it can be hyperthyroid. just in case.

If you are interested in bulking up to become not so skinny, i.e., muscular, you should take up a sport like rowing, which will make your arms, legs and chest much bigger. Eat lots of pasta and fatty meats.
