Is Grag Chappel has to resign?

Answer:
Absolutely ! According to me, Remove CHAPPELL IMMEDIATTELY! He has played havoc with the team since he has taken over. Destroyed players systematically like Irfan Pathan, MS Dhoni, Zaheer Khan and is also causing tremendous uncertainty in the mind of every player. As a CAPTAIN Rahul Dravid is just as good as Sachin Tendulkar. We all know what was the result when Sachin became captain. India direly needs someone like Sourav Ganguly who is aggressive, meets the opposition in the eye, has a good level of basic intelligence and most IMPORTANTLY is NOT A DUMMY CAPTAIN like we have in Rahul Dravid. If Greg CHappel is allowed to have a free run by the time WC 2007 happens Indian team would be at par with present Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. I am really stunned that inspite of the fact that it is the first time since the inception of Champions trophy India could not make it to even the Semi Final and yet the dum witted selectors chose to retain woefully out of form players like Sehwag/Raina/Pathan etc.

He has a superiority complex, and Dravid is 'a good boy' who fix his tie and stand in attention when see the BOSS. That's all about the team now. Experiments with no hope for results, thinking that their decition will be perfect and unquestionable. Rotating the players position without allowing anyone to settle !!!. Both of them are stupids as team managers. In history, only strong people with good sence and character proved results. Just look at Kapil, Imran, Waugh and Ranatunga who inspired their team or at least a Ponting, who is no good leader, but a BIG ispiration to the team who lead from the front. May I think that Chappel is a bloody spy for Australia who destroyed the most successfull Indian captain Saurav Ganguly (whom Australians are very much afraid and hate).

He is a hard-nosed Australian and would most probably like to stay on till his contract expires after WC-2007.

Most of the Indian cricket administrators went over the top to praise Chappell sky-high - mainly because he got rid of Ganguly while India was doing a lot better in ODIs against Sri Lanka (6-1 in India), Pakistan (4-1 in Pakistan), England (4-1 in India).

Resignation of the Coach and appointment of new Coach is not going to change the fortune of Indian Team. What is really required is to make the players to play to their potential with
dedication, application and determination to win. I strongly feel that the best option to achieve this task is to link the payment to the players to their performance. Once this is done, players will be forced to come out of their complacency and try hard to earn their payment by peforming better.

His resignation is very important.

BUT WHAT IS AFTER THAT?

Important is the

CAPABILITY

RESPONSILITY

ACCONTABILITY.

All these will come ONLY-IF

Selection and benefit / payment of

BCCI
SELECTOR
COACH
CAPTAIN
PLAYERS

are linked to performance in the respective capacity.

FOR EXAMPLE Shri RAHUL

1) is a great TEST PLAYER, can play for TEST but not ODI. What he scored in last ODI, he tried to be retain in the team. In ODI total score by INDIVIDUAL along with rate of score is very very important. He can never play fast. Therefore he shall not be choosen for ODI.

2) South Africa was 6 out with 75 runs. Still he could not control upto scoring 277. He is the worst CAPTAIN.
He shall not be choosen for CAPTAINCY.

Then who is CAPTAIN?

Choose some better capable. If connot be select the best player of one ODI as CAPTAIN in the next Match.

Why should he resign? A coach of any team can only do so much. It is really up to the players to win the game.
