My rabbit had 2 large lumpy tumors on the sides of her stomach for about 6 months. Then they just went away. She's 5 years old. Is this normal?

For a rabbit that old, that would normally be one of two things:

An abscess or a hernia/rupture.

If it went away, then I would assume that it was an abscess that probably popped or healed. It would be a good idea to thoroughly check that it is indeed gone and hasn't spread.

Rabbits rarely to never get tumors and a tumor would not go away but would if anything get larger.

It's unlikely for a tumor to just go away. Did you take her to the vet? It may have been an abcsess. I'd take her in for a check up. She is getting pretty old. I had an 11 year old rabbit when I was in grade school MANY years ago, but they normally don't live that long.

you're able to have surgical treatment for her. My gerbil had a tumor yet you are able to no longer perform on them and that i positioned him down. Take him to the vet and notice what the superb decision is. it particularly is not any longer common, yet whilst she is youthful and good she will in all hazard do properly :)

if they are gone, then dont worry.. if they come back, take it to the vet.. you should have taken it to the vet months ago when it first appeared.. it is not normal. i have 2 rabbits, and they are old... this has never happened... take it to a vet.. talk to the vet.. and find out what is going on.. even if they are gone... they could just be pouches of fat or something....
