every gator out there thinks USC is overrated and plays a weak schedule.

last i checked, USC beat arkansas, nebraska, oregon, cal and notre dame. yeah, that one loss to oregon state on the road but so what?

florida plays 2 conference USA teams and a division two team! are you friggin' kidding me? are high school teams on florida's schedule next year? oh, and the gators needed a miracle blocked kick in the last seconds to hold on to a win AT HOME.

some analysts have said that USC plays the 4th toughest schedule in NCAA div 1 football. so are the analysts overrated too? are the gator fans more qualified to be football analysts now?

why can't the gator fans just accept that florida will go down to arkansas in the SEC championship game and lose their shot at the national championship this year. great basketball team, though!

Let's try to answer this by looking at the respective schedules of the two teams in question. I agree Florida deserves to be among the best teams in US college football, but you're right. USC has already beaten five teams that were ranked in the top 25 at some point during the season, (Arkansas wasn't currently ranked when
USC played them). Florida has beaten three teams that were ranked during the season, lost to one, and is scheduled to play another. They beat FSU, which is having an offseason by their standards by 7 points. USC clobbered Arkansas in contrast. I don't know what will happen in the SEC championship game.
LSU beat Arkansas, and Florida beat LSU during the season.
I think Florida has to be considered the favorite for that reason alone. legalissues needs to be reminded, the SEC went 3-3
last season during the bowl season, which is hardly domination.

The Pac-10 went 2-2 last season during the bowl season, so that
proves both conferences hold their own, but are hardly dominant,
but merely average.

So if Florida beats Arkanasa you admit Florida should be the the BCS championship game.

The Pac-10 doest do well against other big conferences in general unlike the SEC. A weak South Carolina team beat Clemson out of the ACC for example just last week. Oregon State will lose to Hawaii next week showing you why the Pac-10 is a joke.

Couldn't agree more. The SEC is weak this year and Florida figures their a shoe in because their a florida team and the only team in the SEC with 1 loss. USC who I in fact am not a fan of, but still should have a legitimate shot at the NC game and so does Michigan. Sure would be nice if DIV I would man up and go to a playoff system like DIV II already has! Then you wouldn't have to worry about teams like Florida this year. They'd all have a chance to prove themselves.

it somewhat is a competent question because of the fact no one somewhat even thought-approximately comparing those 2 communities. it has continuously been the two USC or florida against ohio state or michigan. i could %. USC
