Chernobyl is not in Russia, it is in the Ukraine. Maybe you mean don't buy USSR condoms, or Ukrainian condoms, we will never know.

Chornobyl is in Ukraine, not Russia.

I didn't have any problems with Ukrainian condoms when I was there.
