I think you'll find most liberals agree with this quote from Voltaire: "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

What we do ask is that you use the brain that God gave you before engaging your mouth (or typing finger in this case). Please check your facts and think before posting inflammatory and prejudiced questions. Perhaps the reason you get reported is that questions such as "Why are the Liberals against Religion?" and "Why do Liberals not believe in free speech?" seem to be based on hatred (and perhaps fear - I don't know, I'm not a psychologist) rather than a need to actually find out something. Give that God-given brain a chance and read the replies (well the sensible ones anyway). You'll find out that us liberals are not child-eating terrorist-loving monsters but rather people who love freedom and respect with all our hearts and don't want any Government to take our freedom away.

I just got through answering a athiest who claimed the same things about Christians.

If I were to put up a bulletin board & invite people to post notes, pictures, thoughts, etc. I'd have every right, as the owner of the bulletin board, to take down what ever pictures I felt like! If YOU put up a bulletin board, I'd have NO right to go rip stuff off of it! (Unless it was libelous of me, I guess)

This is thier bulletin board. If they don't like your opinion, it is within thier rights to remove your question of answer. Not to say that they were right to do so, just that they have the right to do so.

The truth is - it is thier right to protest (report) any question they disagree with, even if they are wrong.

I haven't seen anything in your questions that goes over the line.

It's the republicans who don't believe in free speech what with wire tapping gay people, elderly people, and democrats homes. Also with the Patriot Act which due to a democratic senate won't be coming back like the republican agenda has planned.
Also there was a lady peacefully protesting against the War in Iraq (if you call it a war) who was arrested.

Liberals are against free speech? You got your facts out of whack.

Actually, I've noticed that there are quite a few conservatives here who find you as annoying as the liberals do. Perhaps they think you're making them look bad with your asinine, childish posts and they decided to report you.

Judging from comments in the forum, there are plenty of folks both liberal and conservative who get reported. Also, many liberals do believe in free speech and get bombarded by conservatives for supporting that right in courts.

We don't. I've reported 2 people in the time I've been here and it was for repeated harassment. And I told them both when I did it, which gave them time to remove it themselves if they chose.
