I work at a reptile shop, and we are trying to figute out what type of snakes will sell best so we know what to breed. I have a ball python, red-tailed boa, kenyan sand boa, normal corn snake, and an albino motley corn snake. I wan to know what you people like best. Thanks for your time.

My favorites are rainbow boas, white lipped pythons, black headed pythons, mandarin rat snakes, and fox snakes.
The problem with getting interesting things in at reptile/pet shops is the markup is ridiculous. I wanted to try getting ahold of a brazilian rainbow boa where I work, and we would have had to sell it for about 500 bucks... Sand boas are pretty popular and easy to breed from what I've heard... Ball pythons, corns, kings and milks are low cost and pretty popular with everyone(especially blotched kings, very pretty!). If you can manage decently priced brazilian (or even columbian) rainbow boas, they'll probably go like crazy!

My favorite is the Carpet Python. There are Coastal(8-14ft), Irian Jaya(4-6ft), Jungle(5-7ft) and other varieties so you can get pretty much any size you're looking for. They are gorgeous snakes, pretty easy to care for and tame easily. They're a little more difficult than Ball Pythons or Corn Snakes, but as long as they do research and care for them properly a beginner could pretty easily handle a Carpet. I personally have a Jungle Carpet Python and she's a great beautiful snake.

Anything that doesnt bite, and kill.
Snakes kind of freak me out. I can hold one though, my friend had a baby black boa. They are smooth and slippery when trying to handle, kind of interesting. Yet I wouldnt own one. My friends snake got out of its cage all the time, and that I didnt like.
