My friend is 15. They live with their mom and I have tried convincing them it's wrong, and they don't want to listen.

Try to convice her to stay until she graduates or tell her there are other ways like divorcing her parents then she could leave legally but if she is going to Make sure she had somewhere to run to and that she would have money and a life if she ran away

I had a friend in school who had issues at home and wanted to leave. My parents let her come to our house for the weekend until she and her parents both cooled down and could talk things out.
Years later, I realize this is just her personality ~ She ran away from her marriage, from her responsibility as a mother, from most of her jobs, etc. But regardless, I think it's important to try to share as much support as possible, because if a person wants to run away, they will. If they have a safe place to go, that can help.

I would try to talk her out of it. Running away does not solve whatever problem she's facing right now. It only makes things worse if she decides to do this. The problem will still be there no matter what. It's better to face things head on then to run away from them and hide.

That's it no more info.???? Well help them get into a teen shelter. If you live in the shitty city then there should be one. If not, then get with the social worker at school. That is what they get paid for.

Run away from what?
