is it legal to keep sea horses (in th uk) and if so where can i buy them from?

yes you can buy them but make sure it's from a reputable dealer so you'll know that they were bred properly and not taken from the wild.

don't know where you are but there is a place in coventry that is very good (see link below)

Yes it is legal to keep sea horses in the UK. But the reason you do not see them often is because they are not the easiest to keep. I suggest you think carefully before you decide to keep them. Did you know that they must be fed eight times a day?
If you look up www.hobbyfish.co.uk i believe it is they can obtain them also Maidenhead Aquatics can.

If you live in Devon and ever go to Exmouth beach, in the rock pools (in the summer) you will see very small sea horses, i have caught a few, but let them go as i feel that it is cruel to keep them, they should be left in their natural habitat like all wild life should, you will find them in most pet shops that have aquariums, but if you look at them, you can see the bad condition they are in.

You can buy them just check on you're local aquarium/pet shop
You get them anywhere that sells tropical fish

yes you can keep sea horses ( in the uk )but their is a limit. want fish you can keep with them.because they are slow eaters.
