Have you visited your doctor?
If no, the usual steps are:

- he will ask about your period, regular, irregular?
will take note of any special details, many times its just a matter of giving you hormones and make your period regular. So you really have a chance every 28 days.

- he will do a spermogram to your husband
many times we forget men are 50%
if your man has a low count, there are alternatives as pills or similar to make him produce higher levels.

- you will have and exam (dont know the name in english)
this exam is to check you have no blockages in your tube.
it is putting a liquid into your vagina to see via xrays if it gets to your ovaries. this is safe way to know if the problem could be this.

After this you have a pretty good idea whats going on.

Later if you decide to do so, can have artificial insemination.
Also IVF.

Always have in mind the time will come.
I know its hard not to think too much about this, if you are willling to be a mother... but keep the faith and always keep open heart and communication with your husband.

This will help so much in your trying.
Good luck and all the best for you both.

Ok have you seen a doc? I think it is safe to say something is wrong and you are not ovulating or something. I would suggest getting your blood work done and further things to help you conceive. I can not tell you what is wrong but I know that after a year you are usually considered to have a problem that needs to be fixed before you can get preg.

There are many things that could be wrong, first how are your periods? then, do you bleed heavy or not?

It is very common to have a hormone problem that does not let you prepare for a baby

It is also common for there to be blockage so the sperm and egg can not meet. That is a simple procedure that is done and you have very good results after wards.

It can also be that you are not ovulating and they need to give med. to help

Good Luck

Usually, doing the same thing, gets the same results. Stop trying for a baby and concentrate on loving your husband, and let him love you without anxiety and fear. I know of many couples who conceived with ease, after they gave up trying and accepted inevitability of an adoption. If there is something wrong with your or your husband's reproductive system and it can be fixed easily- do it, but do not waste the best years of your life on childless misery when millions of children worldwide die of starvation and neglect. Save a life now and if its meant to be, a second child might be coming from your own loins. God bless you.

Sorry to hear that. I would see a doctor if it is taking you that long to have a baby. Also a factor could be that your timing is all off, age, and/or health problems. You probably have use a ovualtion predictor kit and if you haven't then I would start there. Good Luck..

What is your question? A lot of women try for a very long time and some never succeed. I personally have been trying for two and a half years.
