I was considering trying Hypnopaedia: Sleep-Learning so I could learn a foreign language. I have been trying the CDs, but the accents are strong its boring, and I just can't get into. The books I can't do b/c of having no way of how to pronounce anything. Maybe for a few weeks or months I can play a cd until I remember. I don't wat to waste my time if it doesn't work.

HAS ANYONE TRIED IT BEFORE AND HAD IT WORK?

Are there any other ways I could learn the language quicker? Maybe psychology students would know.

Pure hogwash.

Rent some movies in the language you're studying...maybe something dubbed that you already know really well...watch them until you can mouth the lines along with the actors...this helps with rhythm, diction and accent.

Don't ignore the books.

It doesn't work. When a bunch of us were in college we tried and and it was a dismal failure

It only works if you're trying hypnosis or trying to "brainwash" someone...

I don't think "sleep-learning" works
