Rub them with flour. Rinse the flour off and buff them with a soft cloth. To ensure your stainless steel sink doesn't appear dull in comparison, rub the surface gently with baking powder or buff with a scrunched-up ball of newspaper.

The best way is to use some spray cleaner, not much. Rub it around and then rinse by cupping water in your hands and pouring over top. Wait till the water runs off a bit and then use a dry rag to polish the taps and spout.
If you need to get some crud out of the nooks and crannies, use an old toothbrush.
I learned this when I was a house cleaner. It's the best way. I used to use Windex and a paper towel but not any more.

I use believe it or not toothpaste and an old tooth brush, really works, you can buy a chrome cleaner but it's expensive and I've found the toothpaste does a great job. Another think is baking soda it really does a good job. Now if you have a lime build up soak a cloth with white vinegar and lay or wrap it around the tap wait a couple hours then clean with the toothpaste or baking soda. Always works for me

Soak paper towels in vinegar and wrap them around taps and cover with a plastic baggie. Leave for approximately an hour then remove and wipe down with a wet cloth. Instant sparkly clean taps!!

Brown sauce, leave it on for about 15 Min's and then rinse, you may need to repeat or leave on for longer, depending how bad they are, but it does work!
