i broke up with my bf in october, and it is still so hard for me not to pick up that phone and tell him to come home... he moved everything out and i havent felt like i am at home in my apartment since... its hard for everybody... you just have to let it go for awhile, why don't you call up some friends and go out... you will see, he will be back before you know it.

It's probably because he broke up with you. You probably feel a little regected. Had the situation been reversed, I think you would feel a lot better. However, with that said, I think you and him have been dating for too long and hence you have built a comfort zone around him. Just go out more and break the funk.

Its not just you, Honey. Its hard for all of us. He has basically told you that he wants to move on. Telling you things can work out later is horsesh*t. You need communication and compromise to work things out and none of that is going on.
Dont sit at home waiting for his call. Go out with friends and keep yourself busy. The busier you are, the easier things will be.

It's hard for all the people ,but you need to be strong ,he hopefully will come back to you ,maybe he just needs sometimes to fix his mind to make things work better for you and him..just calm down and try to have fun with your other friends and family!

Stop wasting your time on him. He wants to play, he is not serious. you have to stop wasting your time, sitting home worrying about him, while he is out their having fun! Get over him, move on with your life. you do not have to wait around for him. You go out and have some fun, let your hair down, but be smart about it. Right now it is hard, but in time it will get easier, to me this will make me mad. And I would think, it is his loss. He lost the best thing that will ever be in his life.(smile)

When I broke up with my ex bf it was hard because he was the only thing i knew. He was there for me always and when we broke up it was like I was alone. It's not only hard for you, it's hard for A LOT of people including me but since then I've been able to surround myself with new people and have new friends.

it hard becuase you we're comfortable with being around him,,, but if you are the one breaking it off,,,why is it so hard,,, something bad must have happened,,,,,,give it some time,it will get better,,,start doing some things with your friends,,to keep your mind off of the situation.

He probably just wants to "test out the waters." I know it must be difficult for you. Walking away is hard to do...even if you know it's what's best for you both.
