It is both a girls name and a boys name. ( I have friends of both genders that are named Jade)
Jade Baker "lastname" is the name of the guy
and I dont know the middle name of the girl

I prefer jade for a girl - but these days anything goes.
Jade is a stone/gem most names that come from stones or gems have traditionally been for girls - but not exclusive. Same for flowers and months of the year.
Jade, Pearl, Opal all girls. But I know a guy named Emerald ...
The final decision comes down to the parents. Its the first and last thing you'll have total control over, after that your kids pretty much take over! LOL

i always thought it was a guys name but then i became friends with a girl names jade. its very unique.... i adore the name. i dont know about middle names... all i can think of is jade bell. i think it sounds nice but im not good with names so i dont know.
