People get stretch marks when their weight changes rapidly. Your hips may have recently expanded as you are growing into womanhood. Stretch marks are just hypertrophic skin. They usually start red and fade to a silvery gray color. You can mask them with self-tanner, try mederma scar cream, or ask your dermatologist for Retin-A cream. Retin-A works if the stretch marks are still red or pink but not totally healed. Talk to your doctor about proper weight and also ask about nutrition to promote the most resilient skin. Please remember that most people have at least a few stretch marks and hopefully only those who really care about you will ever see them. Try to love your whole self, not only the perfect parts.

they will most likely not be able to go away but water and cocoa butter will help.

Yes many females when they are developing get strech marks, I know I did and some of my friends. I used Palmer's coca butter to get rid of them, you can find it at Wal-Mart or any drug store.
