I was told that it might be a problem to move out of state with the military. Because the military is not considered a stable address. We have a son together. I wouldnt want to have to be separated from them for years. Could anyone with experience please help me?

hello,
well my family is going through the same thing and the answer to you question is if it is a minor violation then yes but if it a fed offence then your screwed....but it doesn't say that the courts could rule in your favor.....but 9 times outta 10 they want you to do your time in the state your crime is covicted in...and the state gets money off of you going to your po and they will say no .....most of the time but it is worth the try to see every judge is different and may rule in your favor if you are on good behavior and you show them that you are stable thats all they really want out of you any way.....good luck in this matter best of wishes

U can apply to the court for change of station due to change in circumstances. Ur request will in all likelihood be granted. After all courts are also chaired by humans and not machines. Living with family has better chances of improvement in the character of person on parole. Please stop consulting people who have not undergone similar experience.

Only your parole officer can answer this. Call them.

Never assume it is okay. They find you and you will be back in for a long time.
