i love to use mascara, but when i open and close my eyes, my mascara leaves marks on my upper and lower part of the eyes
, like a lashes prints , is there a way to escape that? i have long lashes already, but they are very light in color, because i am a natural blonde so the only reason i color my lashes is to give them that black color look
any ideas? thanks

You need to let your lashes dry before you blink after you apply the mascara. It take a minute or two depending how much you put on. A trick that I hear Reese Witherspoon's makeup artist uses is to get a card (ex credit card) and put that above your lashes (between the lashes & your lid with your eye open) then apply your mascara while holding the carding place. The mascara should touch the card instead of your skin. Then you won't mess up your other eye make and still have fantastic lashes. You could also just dip a Q-tip in makeup remover and use that to get rid of the "lash prints" afterwards.

I have the same problem.. So I use a waterproof mascara and as soon as I apply I LIGHTLY close my eye (not all the way to avoid the marks) and hit the lid area with my hair drier for about 2 seconds to dry the mascara. Then I apply to the other eye and repeat.

The secret is to let the mascara dry so when you apply mascara try to place a piece of cellophane tape on the area where the mascara comes off. Remove the tape once the mascara is thoroughly dry.

You could also have them tinted, it lasts about 3 weeks.

honey girls would die for long lashes
anyways the type of mascara wont differ, they will all leave prints when still moist.
after applying mascara close ur eyes for about 10 seconds till the mascara drys, noway a mascara would leave prints when its dry. and if it happens that u get those prints, just use a cotton bud to gently remove any prints.

Ugh maybe you aren't doing this but I hate when girls brag about having long eyelashes by acting like they're a problem. I have long eyelashes too, and you know what I do when I get mascara up there? Get the tip of a Q-tip wet and REMOVE the mascara from your skin. I don't really think there is any other way to get around it, but I don't see why it's such a huge problem.

you could do what i did when i was younger. i gave my lashes one coat and then let them dry and then applied another coat with the same technique.also you could put on the mascara and then put a clear coat on over top of them. sometimes when you are in a hurry take a hair dryer and put it on low or be in front of a fan on low and apply the first coat of mascara and then let it dry that way. there is water proof mascara as well. have you ever used clear mascara?

Maybe after you put it on you close your eyes for a couple minute to let the mascara dry a little bit? And eyelash curlers could curl them a little to make them a little shorter.

I don't have long eye lashes but that happens to me anyway. Try using some L'oreal paris dermo Expertise, Eye makeup remover/refreshing oil free.

Just dip a quetip in it and rub the spot that you got mascara on. works for me!

If you look down when applying your mascara it helps. Also if yo are careful and wait for the mascara to dry before you blink. Hope that helps xx
