Actuall you'll be surprised what you will gain.
I gained 5 pounds between 0-7 months. Then I went crazy.
Your baby and the placenta will all weigh around 20 pounds when you all is said and done, and that's for an 8 pounds baby! It has nothing to do with a fast metabolism.

I'm 20 weeks along, have lost 15 lbs and still haven't gained any weight. My stomach is now getting huge, the baby is ten inches, but I still am not gaining weight. My doctor wasn't too concerned at this point, I have a very healthy baby right now, and now I'm able to keep my food down she told me that it will come as the baby grows. Everyone around me keeps telling me that be happy that I haven't gained a lot of extra weight yet, that just means less to lose once baby comes around. The only concern my doctor has when it comes to weight is if the reason for not gaining weight is because of severe morning sickness and if there is a lack of eating or keeping food down. This can cause problems and severe dehydration. I honestly wouldn't worry at this point, I'm in the same boat as you and my doctor thinks it's perfectly healthy. I'm just waiting for a huge weight gain to jump up and surprise me :) I've never had so many people come up to me and tell me how skinny I am (these are the people who know I'm pregnant.) It does get a little annoying because everyone is always looking at my belly to see if I've started plumping up yet. I do have a little belly, and pants are not longer fitting because my belly is as hard as a rock now. Good luck :)

Don't worry, with your naturally fast metabolism, you probably won't gain the expected weight. As long as you and the baby are healthy, there is nothing to worry about.Talk to your doctor about it. I didn't gain any weight until the last month of my pregnancy -- and then I gained 30 pounds! Just take it easy on yourself, eat right and stay hydrated. Good luck.

I have two girls. Before the first, I weighed 98lbs. I worried a lot. I eventually gained weight near the end. Both babies were healthy and at least 8lbs. Stop worrying about weight or comparing yourself with other expectant mothers. You could be adding stress on you and the baby. Know that you are blessed and that you are going to have a beautiful healthy baby. Some people only gain baby weight. (all stomach). Look on the bright side, when its over, you both will be healthy and you won't loose your shape:)

My weight gain has been very sporadic. From week one to ten I gained 9 pounds then after that it was 2 maybe three pounds a month at my six month check up I had put on 7 pounds and my seven month check up I hadn't put any weight on. Just keep eating and don't worry. There are so many other things that you are going to worry about during your pregnancy don't let this bother you. Your doctor will let you know if there is a problem. Congratulations!

Relax and don't fret the weight usually comes around six months some women however gain weight early from being bloated you just I guess aren't one of them. In time your body will store the fats and retain the water it needs for the baby. as I said the baby grows six months and on your baby is still very tiny at 15 weeks you may start to get a little pot around 5 months your doctor will measure your baby and your belly in the upcoming weeks until then enjoy and have a healthy pregnancy.

Don't worry, as long as your OB says things are fine and you are eating well you'll gain what you need to.
I lost 12 lbs in the first 5 months because of morning sickness. Only at 30 weeks did I finally go over my prepregnancy weight.

Do not worry !!! I started gaining at around 5 months. The baby Will take what it needs and you will suffer before the baby will ever suffer. As long as you are taking your vitamins and eating you will be ok !!

Speak to your doctor but I doubt it's anything to worry about. Babies do a lot of developing in the early months and most of their actual growing in the last 3.
Good luck
