Yes. I believe in God

Religion is faith based.

I am a logic and reasoning type of person. I do not take things on faith. I research, I experiment, and I draw conclusions.

I do not believe when there is lack of evidence, nor do I have faith without testable proof.

In my life and studies, I have yet to see the need for an invisible sky wizard to fill in the gaps. Nor have I seen irrefutable proof that an invisible sky wizard exists or that we all go to a magical fairy land after we die.

The Christion/Hebrew/Islamic gods are exceptionally contradictory (and twisted) if you read their texts. One can easily tell that it was written by many different people with many different view points.

There are also older religious texts and followings in the world, some which predate the popular religions by millenia. If the Hebrew/Islamic god is supposed to be the one true god, why didn't it reveal itself to these earlier people? So why is any one of the popular ones more "right" then the others? Why were the peoples in the Middle East so special that their gods would reveal themselves but not go to any one of the other races acros the globe? Did this diety only really care about a particular race?

This just scratches the surface of what doesn't make sense in the religions of the sky wizards.

In light of not having any solid irrefutable proof nor a falsifiable test or even a consistent set of documentation, I employ Occam's Razor. God (or Gods) do not exist because it introduces far more complexity to a system that doesn't need it.

I believe in God because it is to me the best way to make sense of this world we live in. I can not look at nature and not believe that it was created by some divine creature.

I believe in God. My family raised me with the belief that there is a God and Jesus is his son born to the virgin Mary. Ever since I could remember I have this belief and I do think that there is a God watching us and seeing how we behave.

No, because other than a book of fables, there is no hard evidence that he ever existed. I have proof that dinosaurs existed, and cavemen, but not god or jesus.

Because God believes in me...its reciprocal.
Why would a person not believe? Call God whatever you please but one look into the universe should make anyone feel small and in awe.

A teacher once asked Johnny, "Johnny, look outside and tell me if you can see the trees."
"Yes, teacher," Johnny replied, "I can see the trees."
"Can you see the sky?" asked the teacher.
"Yes, teacher," Johnny said, "I can see the sky."
The teacher then asked Johnny, "Can you see God?"
"No, teacher," Johnny stuttered, "I don't see God."
The teacher then said, "Well, then, if you can't see God, God must not exist!"

Little Sue asked the teacher if she could ask Johnny some questions. With the teacher's permission, Susie asked, "Can you see the teacher's eyes, Johnny?"
"Yes," Johnny responded, "I see the teacher's eyes."
Susie asked, "Can you see the teacher's ears?"
Again, Johnny said he could see the teacher's ears.
"Johnny," asked Susie, "can you see the teacher's brain?"
Johnny stammered and said, "No, I can't see the teacher's brain."
Susie replied, "Well, then if you can't see the teacher's brain, it must not exist!"

Believing in God (or an intelligent designer, or an incredible evolution of a 'big bang' process, or "nature") is a matter of faith. As our world becomes more and more inhumane, calloused, untrustworthy, materialistic, and selfish, we become far less spiritual. It's harder for most of us to believe in God today because we rarely recognize that He exists (even when He performs a miracle right in front of us, such as allowing us to get up in the morning and breath in fresh air). -RKO-

I don't because I don't feel like there is enough proof.
