They don't, maybe your thinking of the 70's and 80's, look at any footage from earlier times and they as baggy as the league players wear. These days they are not tight either, most are draw string type shorts with plenty of room. You could also ask this q in the American football section, they wear tights for Christ sakes.. people r being killed by earthquakes and what not by the thousands and AFL shorts is your concern, time to grow up a bit, hey.
