The '!' stands for factorial. Basically, you multiply all the integers from 1 to whatever number your factorial is.
n! = n (n-1)(n-2)...etc.....1

6!/2!
= (6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1) / (2 x 1)
The 2's cancel.

6 x 5 x 4 x 3 = 360

6 factorial = 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 =720.


2 factorial = 2 x 1 = 2



720 / 2 = 360

so you would take 720 and divide it by 2 and get 360
