Unless she has rhinocerous skin, shaving is likely to produce bumps, zits, and rashes. And it itches when it grows out - really bad, and you can't scratch down there in public. Waxing is pulling all the hair out by the roots! Imagine what that feels like.
Tell her to resist pressure to do anything she is uncomfortable doing. If this is a relationship breaker, then the relationship was pretty weak, and he probably just likes to control her, which means he's bad news anyway. If SHE wants to trim the hair a little, no harm is done, but the freaky bald look is definitely not for most women. Tell him shaving is really 1990s; hair is in.

keep some hair, otherwise it's lie looking at a little girl, which is ont a turn on. Not too hairy, and not hairless. A little strip or small patch is nice, and feminine too.

fully shaved makes you look like a little girl - a bit pervy - keep some neatly trimmed hair (semen glistening in pubic hair is a real turn-on)
