Well in my opinion that is a false statement.

First of all IF your spelling is incorrect and should be "nobody". This example is only the way one person is living, therefore can not be assumed for everybody else. And if it is spelled correctly and is to mean "no body" then it is still false. Yes your body lives for yourself it doesn't live for some Tom or Joe down the street....they have their own body that lives for them.

Second this boy in the example did live for himself. Did somebody make him capable to feed himself and his parents? No he did it for himself, granted yes with the help of others, but he didn't have to become capable he could have led another way and been very opposite from that. Same idea with his marriage, children, looking after parents, etc., he didn't have to do these things he did them for himself because he wanted to do them that way. He wanted to get married for himself he didn't have to, he wanted to have children for his own personal reasons, he didn't have to do it for anybody else, etc.

You become who you are make your own decisions and live for yourself. Yes with the help, guidance, encouragement, etc. of others and others may be part of your life (kids, wife...) but in the end it was all done that way for yourself not for anybody else and you chose to have the kids, wife... in your life it didn't have to be that way. Also as you say "gone" I don't think I feel the same way. I may have "passed on" but I will not be "gone"! I still exist in memories of those that knew me and we will meet again when they pass on... in a place I call heaven!

Hope that makes sense and isn't confusing, but that is how I feel about the statement.

So what? Everyone is living( Hindu Undivided Family as per present law)except if you forget your obligations.Say the Parents wanted to make you a Doctor..How much money they invest in your educational carrier. What they expect from you-not a reward but just in their elder age possibly you can support them. That's what happens when you are involved in Undivided Family (HUF) and get the maximum benefit from Income Tax department.
I have seen in USA son is calling their parents to come to USA and ask them to do baby sitting for their children. Why the parents do the job-in fact it's not an job but love towards their Grand Children.Ands what they reap- sitting outside the home on a bench of Park whole day.If they remains in Home-instructing them Not to keep light on,not to watch a TV,Not to run Air conditioning,Not to cook a food even for themselves. So here it is everyone lves for themselves.

Nobody lives by himself. He is made as a man from the childhood by his parents. He is loved by his wife and his childden. He takes care of his parents, wife and children and in turn they extend their love towards you. So life is living with people. He lives not only for himself and for others too. He contributes something to the society.
