Well, I get migranes too, and I noticed that there were "triggers" for mine. For example, if I eat cheese, drink milk or have something a little too spicy, it can trigger one.

Drink a lot of water too. Ask your doctor what the triggers are for migranes and stay away from them.

Once I had one, since all we can take is Tylenol, I would put a sleep mask on, get a bucket next to my bed (in case I threw up) and have a very very large glass of lukewarm water next to me. I would try super hard just to relax and go to sleep. (and take the dose of tylenol).

Hope this helps! Good luck!

I had horrible migraines when I was pregnant as well, turn off the lights, pop one regular tylenol and go to bed.
Works like a charm.
Minimize your stress and drink lots of water too.

Please speak to your OB regarding this! I had them once a week for the entire pregnancy. Yes, stay hydrated, and rest when you can. Try the Tylenol. After a certain point in your pregnancy there are prescription drugs that your doctor can prescribe that are "safer" ( all drugs carry some risk when pregnant) Let your doc know and I am sure they will work with you.

Migraines are onset by many different factors. 80% of them have to do with dehydration, so make sure you are drinking tons of water! take your body weight, cut in half and that's how many ounces you should have a day as a minimum. so if you are 150 lbs you should have 75 oz of water each day.
Also, try to minimize your stress levels as much as possible.
Try to keep the noise and lights lower than normal. Natural light is best, florescent lights have been linked to causing migraines in people.

Stop eating chocolates or things with chocolate added. My niece got off the chocolates and her doctor agreed this was her migraine trigger! Hope this helps!

Talk to your doctor, I know someone who was having such bad headaches she couldn't see straight, and her doctor prescribed her something for them. I'm not sure what it was , sorry. But they usually stop after you are 5 months along.
Good luck!!

the only thing that you can take that will not harm the baby is REGULAR TYLENOL... other than that there is nothing you can take... sorry... sleep helps migranes. or turn off all lights, all noise, close all windows... and just sit there with your eyes closed...
