The main contenders are NZ SA Fr and Aus.
Lets look at New Zealand. They have the best team in the world nobody can argue that fact right now. They have top players and the ability to adapt to any gametype. They have this psychogical thing at the world cup but sooner or later they will overcome that. I think its gonna be sooner as soon as next year actually.
South Africa. Ahh yes the bokke. The country with more sport politics than well any other kind of politics. They have a good team a really good team. One problem though they never play at their best. Also they struggle to adapt to the Northern Hemisphere.
France have a good team we all agree on that dont we??? They have home advantage so if they win we know why. They have been playing good rugby these last few years but not yet in the league of New Zealand. But they will be a force to be reckoned with.
Australia if they win will it be a surprise to you??? They have been losing a lot of close games these last few years, but if there is one team that can never be written off its the Aussies. Their ability to come from behind and perform under pressure is legendary.
Other teams Ireland Samoa and England
Samoa have a good team yes. Very physical and if they can get out of their pool next year(with sa and eng) and judging on eng current form they will, they might cause an upset or 2.
Ireland the one team in my personal opinion is gonna cause an upset or 2. They have a very expiernced team and when it comes to worldcups that counts a lot. Just look at the team Eng had in 2003. This team might win it, the only reason I said they are not a main contender is because they dont yet play at the level of the other top teams. BUT they have the ability and capacity to do so. Mark my words watchout for these irish men.
Eng well then there was Eng. They defending champions never dreamt they would sink this low but here they are. They will need a miracle and more to win it.
I dont think the Northern teams are gonna make it 2 in a row. This one is going to NZ SA or Aus

They do have chance if they dont have serious injuries during six nations. And if they didnt reach their peak already with the good rugby they are playing at the moment. Remember, England in last World cup, they peaked at the right time. The All Blacks always seems to choke in a semi final,so look for a little surprise team to come through.

australia... they wont let it slip away again... they got a great new coach... they have larken @ fly half who is still one of the best in the world. they have greagan goone(connoly doesnt seen to rate him highly) a better forward pack with benn robinson very promising and adam frier who i was told can tthrow the rugby ball into a basketball net from halfway.. a good linout lead by dan vickerman. the explosive david lyons @ number 8. the freaks latham, turqui and rogers in the back 3. stirling mortlock in the number 13 and who else but matt gitiu @ inside centre... who can possibly beat them... and south africa will be beaten by naru in the group stages

It will be the all blacks on one side, and the other will be Ireland, unless South africa can sort their stuff out
