None, other than as a door stop. Makes a sticky mess, worthless to use. Buy aluminum tape instead. Stays stuck, and is more permenant. After I started using aluminum tape, I tosses all of my nasty duct tape rolls.
By the way, never use duct tape (originally called duck tape) on ducts. Will not stick, or if it does, will fall off in a few months.

You are going to laugh but it makes a great patch for a hole in your jeans! I am very hard on my jeans and have had holes show up in very unsuitable places and a temporary patch is needed.......Duct tape covered the hole and holds very well! Have you ever seen the Red Green show on PBS t.v. stations? He makes all kinds of stuff with Duct Tape. I have seen guys tape their shoes together with it also. It makes a great cup holder in our old farm truck also.
