WTF?! It makes absolutely NO sense for people to apologize for what their ancestors did! Where's the logic? How bloody stupid can it get?

By the way, one of my ancestors was William the Conqueror, and I apologize for what he and the other Normans did to the Anglo-Saxons...NOT!!!

Like it matters if Tony Blair apologizes for the slave trade he had no part of. What does it matter? He didn't commit the sins he shouldn't apologize for the result. Some people need to get over it. Besides, it isn't like the ones demanding an apology have been slaves. So this is the situation: one guy is apologizing for a problem he didn't engage in to people who aren't currently damaged by it. This makes sense to me. Sheesh!

An apology should be for something you've done and that you are sorry about. Apologising for something someone else did hundreds of years ago is rather silly. Is Blair going to apologise on behalf of Moses for not negotiating better at Mount Sinai?

He should take a leaf out of Ken's book. If you think doorstepping journalists are an insult to the Jewish race, you should say so and to hell with the whingers.

It is just Bliar pulling his usual stunt of saying things he hopes will win him praise. As some answers have said how can you and why should you apologies for something you and your family never took part in. Bliar is just being his usual hypocritical and lying self.

I think his time and effort should be spent apologising to the British public for f*cking up our country since his time in government......not on something that happened over 200 years ago!!!!
