You could set the laptop on a table and sit back in your chair, with the keyboard in your lap, and do your stuff. My daughter used to do this. Sometimes she sat on the bed.

NO WIRES! you'll be able to sit further from the computer than the standard cables allow. BUT; they need power to work so they need batteries and you'd be smart to always have extras lying around.

i don't think there wud b any benefits of buyin keyboard but buying mouse cud help u if u dont have any experience on laptop's mouse touchpad!!!
